Materials and Colouring Agents
Our products are treated with light stabilisers to resist polymer breakdown and reduce colour fade caused by exposure to ultraviolet light. Raw materials, colouring agents and additives conform to European directive 94/62EC, and meet the requirements specified regarding the presence of heavy metals.
Suitability for Contact with Foodstuffs
The materials and colouring agents used conform to directive 90/128 EC, to it’s amendments and to J.O.R.F. brochure no 127.
Unit and Stacked Loading Load values depend on the type of container, the type of load, the temperature and the duration. Each product is designed for many years continuous industrial use. In the event of any doubt or of non typical applications, please consult PSS

Temperature for use
The materials used are operational within a wide temperature range.
Polyethylene is compatible with temperatures ranging form – 30 deg C to +60 deg C
Polypropylene is functional from – 20 deg C to +80 deg C
For any application that approaches the limits of these temperatures, we recommend that the product is tested before implementation, and that PSS are consulted in the event of any doubt.
Resistance to Chemicals
Our products are resistant to most chemical agents currently encountered in industry, In the event of any doubt please consult PSS.
Printing and Marking Most of our products can be marked with their owners name & logo.
There are marking systems, Hot foil printing is available, and can be made in a large choice of colours, lettering is in a range of standard sizes, or we can produce a specially engraved die to match your company name style or logo.
For very large orders, containers can be marked in relief at manufacture. The lettering forms part of the mould, and is therefore the same colour as the container. |

Washing
Our products can be passed through washers under high pressure at temperatures of 80/90 deg C, and with most washing and soda based detergents currently in use.
Masterbatch Colours
Here you can see the most commonly used colours available from stock, minimum quantities for injection moulding non standard colours is 1000 pieces.
Rotational Moulding colour coding is easier, small quantity colour changes can be done for 1 offs if required.
